Matthew DeVoe is a Partner at Ascendant Industries, where he serves on the investment committee and plays a key role in devising strategies which enhance the operational efficiencies of portfolio companies.

He additionally serves as the Founding Partner of the single family office and advisory firm DeVoe Capital. Within DeVoe Capital he serves on the investment committee, and works closely with portfolio companies across the media, tech, education, aviation, and real estate industries.

Matthew additionally has nearly two decades experience, serving within holding company leadership, within the media and technology space. He served as an executive at both News Corporation and 21st Century Fox, managing a portfolio of assets globally, running $3bn in contracts, managing global logistics and working on special projects for the C-Suite. He frequently advised business unit leaders in North America, Asia, Australia and Europe to define strategic financial sourcing goals and objectives.

His business unit oversight included: Fox News, Fox Sports, 20th Century Fox Film, New York Post, Harper Collins, Blue Sky Studios, BSkyB, News International, Sky Italia, SkyGermany, News Limited Australia, StarTV, Wall Street Journal & Dow Jones, and News Corporation Government Relations Bureau.

An accomplished entrepreneur, he founded and sold Limitless Media, a technology company focused on bringing efficiency and scale of the product placement space, with lines of business in content, consumer products, and technology.

Matthew has a B.S. in Business Administration from Binghamton University and played for the Men’s Division 1 Basketball team.
